How to edit the text "shared a link via weebly" in facebook post?

Hi,

When I share a blogpost, people see a text in facebook: 'shared a link via weebly'. Is it possible to change that line tot f.e.: 'shared a link via www.domainname.com'?

Thanx in advance

Unfortunately, it isn't possible to change that since it's built into the Facebook app that our sharing tools use. Sorry!

Sorry about that! One thing you could do is share the URL of your site directly on Facebook; that wouldn't have your suggestion but it also would not have our default text.

Found this solution to the same problem I have and have to report: No, it doesn´t work. If I insert the blog article URL into a facebook post it automatically refers to Weebly (although I create the post directly in Facebook).

That´s a shame for businesses as mine as I want to promote content from my website and don´t want to tell people who my website provider is.

Best regards

Nadine

Can we use the "Share to Facebook"and "Share to Twitter" for our blog posts on free Weebly--I can't get these to work. I want to post to my Facebook Author Page, not my private profile--is this possible? Thanks, as always!

Yes, although you'll need to disconnect and reconnect to Facebook so you can choose your author page instead of your profile.
