The short answer is that Weebly web sites do use cookies, and it's more a matter of knowing what they are for. If you want to find out more detail, you could sign up for a free account with OptAnon (read this page on The Cookie Law's web site first) and then run a cookie audit to see what's going on.
I should point out, though, that although I'm no law expert, I believe the cookie notice is only a requirement for businesses. If your site is purely a personal one, you may well not need to display one.

@DennisBloodnok is right, Weebly uses cookies. In your Settings tab, you can set a notice to come up to notify the site visitor as such.

Hi,
I'm trying to get feedback from weebly about the exact cookies used on my website. I need a legal cookie policy . I have a basic one, but I must update it with a list of the specific cookies used on my site.
Can you please provide me with a list, or a formal legal cookie notice that covers weebly sites. I am not talking about the cookie notice at the top or bottom of the page, but the actual details of the cookie names and what they do which can be made available in a word or pdf policy with full details.
Thanks

I understand how to add a cookie notification to my site but not how to turn off the use of cookies altogether if I prefer not to use them. Do we have a choice as to whether or not we wish cookies to be used on the Weebly sites we create? If not, can you supply us with a list of the exact cookies used on our websites so we can create accurate cookie policies for our sites? Thanks Weebly!
