Cookies Pop Up

Hello all,

For some reason the Cookies pop up is showing up on devices here in South Africa, when apparently it is only meant to be showing to EU Visitors. Also my custom text is not displaying. Please could someone advise?

Hmm.. it's not showing up in the US. I see you made a recent publish. Has that helped? Can you try opening the site from a different browser in private/incognito mode?

Hi Bernadette, the recent publish didn't make any difference to that issue. I have looked at the site across 4 devices (2 cellphones and 2 computers) with different browsers on each. The cookies banner always pops up on the cellphones, both of which are in South Africa on South African networks.

And my custom text doesn't display on any.

Can you please change the settings for "everyone" then publish and let me know so I can check? Then if you could give me permission to switch it back to EU only I can make sure to change it again. Thanks!

I've changed that to "All Visitors" now as you suggest. And you have permission to change it back

Thanks! Okay, I can confirm I can see the banner and your custom text. I'm turning the cookies back to EU only, but forgot to ask permission to publish as well. :facepalm:

No worries, I just set it back to EU myself and republished just now.

Can you try opening the site from a brand new browser in private/incognito mode? Do you use a vpn to access the internet?
