Hi, @Pierre2.
Our engineers are currently looking into this. Have you checked out the App Center for cookie banner apps? That would be a good alternative.

Any news on fixing the cookie banner pop up? My sites are currently not compliant with EU privacy policy because of this. I wonder if the problem is deliberate - forcing the purchase of the Weebly or a 3rd party app in order to be compliant.........

Implementing a cookie solution has become significantly more complicated over the last few years, and it's much hard to have a solution that properly supports site owners in every location. See our guide on adding a cookie banner to your website for more information.

No doubt it is complicated. But Weebly has solved it on their editor site:
'Manage cookies
Square uses cookies (and similar technologies) for many purposes, including maintaining security, improving and customising our services, and enabling relevant marketing. Please review our use of cookies to accept or reject non-essential cookies'.
So why not on my sites? Most concerning is that I was not even notified that it wasn't working. How long has it been like that? The EU is imposing HUGE fines on companies that do not comply. Can we have a clear target date to fix this please. IT IS A LEGAL REQUIRMENT. (Oh, & it works OK on WIX too.....)

I cannot afford to pay $15 a month for a cookie banner opt out banner. Weebly had one a few months ago available in settings and now it says we have to use a third party vendor to get a cookie banner on the site which is ridiculous since most my sites don't earn any money and the two that earn Google Adsense and Amazon Affiliate Ads don't even make enough to cover the cost of my two paid for websites. I need a cookie opt out banner and I don't see why weebly is forcing us to have to pay for one when they had one on there free last year.
