File Upload problems
I noticed the window that the attachment window that appears after clicking the toolbar button recently changed. When I try to upload my files I now seem to have to do it several times before it actually uploads. I can't seem to find a reason why it does it sometimes on the first attempt while others take several tries to get the same task done. Any suggestions?

I am having the same problems uploading audio files. The blue upload progress bar goes half way, then goes back to the start, but then freezes half way the second time round. Any ideas for a solution?

I'd recommend review the info in this guide from our Help Center on troubleshooting uploads:

Hi Adam
My last post on this issue was 3 weeks ago and I still cant upload any audio files. I've done everything that has been mentioned in previous posts and in the weebly troubleshooting document. It looks like I'll have to go to plan b - create a new website elsewhere!!!!

Have you been able to get in touch with live support yet? They should be able to check out the file for you, try an upload from here, and generally troubleshoot in more detail than we can here.

I can't upload video, tried many times, with different settings and different browsers. Cleared cache etc... Contacted Support by chat and phone at least six times, and always get a lame answer: it is you're internet conection. I do am able to upload this files to you tube and facebook without a hitch. And I contacted my internet service provider and he says there is no problem with my internet service, hugelly disapointed on this considering switching to another web creation service.

Sorry to hear that, . I think when our team mentions your internet connection, they mean that where you and your ISP is located versus where our servers are located. YouTube and video services like that often have multiple servers on multiple continents, so they can route you geographically to the nearest one to you.
What size video and file type are you trying to upload?

why won't Weebly accept they have something wrong and fix it?
My uploaded files disappear and it won't let me reload it.
Please don't ask me any questions as if I'm the problem

Hello NBAforecast! Sorry for the inconvenience, we do need to ask questions and clarify what's going on, in order to reproduce it here so we can fix whatever is happening. Where were the uploaded files located?

I have not been able to upload sermon audio either for several weeks. I have tried 3 browsers, multiple file formats, pop up blocker, removing extensions, and everything else I could think of. This is relatively recent, but I can't find a solution. Ive been using weebly for over a year. Im sure it is not me, its a recent change to the site. I can get to the file and then try to upload but I don't even get the blue bar. Nothing happens.

I sometimes have upload indicator stop just before the end of indicator bar, even when uploading 3-4mb in size..
The solution for me is to connect my phone as a hotspot and they go through OK. I am using ADSL from Telstra.
Hope this helps

I FOUND A BUG FIX!!
Like a lot of people here, trying to upload certain files did not work (3mb pdf with a few images in it). I'm using Mac with Safari, and I tried opening a PRIVATE WEB WINDOW and it worked!!!!!!!!!
I have been able to upload large files fine (albeit now a new bug has arisen that no files appear in the link diaglog box when linking to a picture ... every silver lining has its cloud).
This must be a weebly problem, but this worked for me and so I'd advise trying it at least once.

Glad you found a fix, however Weebly really do need to fix this!!! We shouldn't have to work around it - we are paying for a service here, Weebly... clean up your act.

I have used my home network direct link through cable, the wireless network, two other locations as well. It doesnt seem to be an issue with internet, as I use other sites on this same internet that upload significantly larger files. I have a lot invested in this site, so I would prefer not to change, but I have yet to get a reply from weebly to help. My guess is they are well aware of the issue and have not found a solution. Like other techs who tell you to reboot, because they are hoping that will fix the issue. This has been going on for a long enough period of time to get a fix in today's tech world. Frustrated
