Adding a text area to a page

Hi

Can anyone tell me how to add a text box (Such as this one I'm typing in!) to a webpage, and then when the POST button is clicked, the text stays where it is,

The ones I've tried all lose the text when you close the webpage

If there's any HTML code I can copy and past it would be brilliant

Thanks

Steve

That link shows Comments Plus but there's nowhere to download it or add it to my site!

After you connect to the app through the App Center, I think that app will add an element to your sidebar to drag to a page of your site.  If it does, you should see it at the bottom of the list of elements.

Hi Steve,

It sounds like you are trying to add a blog post. If that is the case, you will need to click the blue "New Post" button first, then you can drag the text element (and any other elements) on to the post.
When finished, then click the Post button.

Hi

Thanks for your message

Sorry, but I'm not trying to have a blog page, and when I added a blog page I can't see how anyone can post to it, nothing seems to be clickable whe you view it in a browser!

I want a text area when anyone invited to that particular page can type a message and it is then saved - this is more of a communication tool for us and a customer. If you see this, you'll probably understand what I am trying to do

It will be password protected when it goes live

Thanks

You might be able to do what you need with an app from our App Center, @stvholden.

Check out these search results for "comment":
