Can't remove boldface from newly added text

Hi, 

On my resume page for my site, I've pasted in plain text (copied from notepad) that is forced to be in boldface. The formatting button to toggle boldface "B" doesn't do anything when I try to remove this, and neither does the Remove Fomratting "Tx". 

It's not just the pasted text. Any text that's already boldface can't be changed to not be. But non-bold text can be made boldface.

Is there some issue with my older site and new settings causing this? I really don't want to have to manually type in all of the text I'm trying to put in there.

Solved it on my own:
Theme > Change Fonts > Paragraph Text >Weight was set to Bold, so I switched to Regular.
