Adding Google Analytics to product pages

I'd like to track more in my Google Analytics than just the broad topic pages people are visiting, and can't seem to find out where to put the tracking code on the product pages. I know you must have the code on each page you want tracked, and I found where to put it on the pages, but not on the products themselves. I also want to change the name of the storefront so that it doesn't say "Featured Products" as my header when searching for my site on Google.

Hey @starb37!

Go to Store > Settings > Advanced, and enter your Google Analytics ID there.  This will add Google Analytics to all your store pages.  As for your Store's title, go to Store > Storefront, then enter your new title to the right for the SEO Title option found under Advanced Options.

I have the Google Analytics code in my store already, but it isn't showing individual product pages being visited in Google Analytics, just the broad ones like About, Contact, etc. Maybe I need to give it a few more days to calibrate.

If you let me know the URL of a product page I can check and see if the code is present on your live site.

It seems to be working now. I needed to be patient, which I hate... LOL!

If you add your analytics ID to Store > Setup > Tracking, it should better track your product pages for you, @usmankhan.

After publishing it can take a little while for Google to fully crawl and index a site. If you give it a little longer that should happen automatically, though.
