transfer ownership
Hi everyone. I'm trying to do transfer ownership. However, the new person's identity cannot be verified by the system and the transaction does not take place. There has been no name or address change in the last 6 months. Name, surname, address and SSN information are correct. I also talked to the customer representative, but she did not offer me any solution. The warning I get is as follows:
We've encountered an error
We've encountered an issue while transferring ownership of this account. Please try again later.
If the problem persists, contact Square Support for assistance. In the meantime, the original owner still has ownership of the account.
I'm waiting for your help

I would make sure you both meet the eligibility requirements. That could be the reason you are getting an error message. If this continues please reply with the error message you see.
