URGENT ASSISTANCE NEEDED "SSL certificate is being configured. Check back later."

Spoiler

Urgancy is needed please.

Hello,

For 3 weeks now we have had the message "SSL certificate is being configured. Check back later." on our Home (listentrial.co.uk) (www.listentrial.co.uk) site and are running patient trials, we need this to be resolved asap as its affecting our patient enrolment.

Unfortunately it is making us losing confidence in this website hosted solution going forward for our multiple trials that wanted something similar.

Attempted helpdesk, forced to leave message due to UK time difference to no response and urgently need assistance to get this resolved.

Best wishes,

Hi @Mrmicklindsay, thanks for posting.

Looking at your DNS records on  https://who.is/, it looks like you only have one A record set up for the subdomain www. You will need to set up another A record for the root domain m-ocean.co.uk and use the same value: 199.34.228.45 .

I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions !

Hi @SLAPC7, welcome to the Seller Community.

Sorry to hear you're running into this.

Can you show me where you are seeing that message? I had a look your site appears to be secure from what I can see.

I'm trying to pull up your DNS records on who.is but it appears to be down: https://who.is/dns/listentrial.co.uk, I'll need to check back later when they are up and running.

@Breffni Iโ€™m having the same problem on my site and contacted weekly who didnโ€™t really help. Www.m-ocean.co.uk. Ive had folk saying the site is not secure: "SSL certificate is being configured. Check back later." Has been for months.

Thanks for your reply @Lou8 - Really appreciate your time.

I've done as you suggested and domain registrar says it's all done.

My site is still saying not secure. And in Weebly it is saying "SSL certificate is being configured. Check back later"

I've un-published and re-published (this morning) the site as I read that this may help.

Do you think I just need to give it time or do I need to do something else?

No problems @Mrmicklindsay - always happy to help ๐Ÿ™‚.

It looks like the DNS records haven't updated yet. I can still see only one A record on who.is.

Did the site editor prompt you for a CNAME and TXT record ?Otherwise, you might need to wait a bit longer for the edits to populate on your DNS records.
