Reactivate Square button when clicked, spins forever and Square payments not supported

Hi there,

I was trying to get things setup and clicked the Deactivate Square Payments from the https://square.online/app/store/users/xxxx/sites/yyyy/#/store/checkout. page.

The page currently shows "Square Not Active" and shows a 'Reactivate Square' button.

When I click the button, it just spins forever and payments are not accepted.

Looking in the devtools logs, I can see I get this API response back:

for API:

https://square.online/api/JsonRPC/Commerce/?Commerce[PaymentGateway::enable]

response:

{"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"PaymentGateway::enable","error":{"code":-1,"message":"Permission denied"},"id":0}

what's wrong?

how do i get my square payments to be accepted again?

yes; opened a ticket in the end, and this was identified as being a bug.

bug has now been fixed (THANKS!) and Im back in business .... literally!
