Item Unavailable Issue

Only recently my items have decided to show up as unavailable on the storefront. When selecting a product - despite being in stock - the add to cart button shows as 'not available'.

 

I have toggled the mark newly added items in the square sync section as 'off'. I have checked that the track inventory is switched on and that stock has been added on both sides (Square and Weebly). I have also checked that the item is visible.

 

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I've also cleared my cookies as a precaution but still nothing. This wasn't happening before because I managed to get items showing but now after adding a few more products even the ones that were showing before aren't anymore.

@thecafeguy one of the settings for new items is to be able to have then be ‘unavailable’ when added to the library. This was on by default for items added on the Square side of things - seeing as you’ve changed & updated the sync settings it’s probably worth checking that the items are flagged as ‘available’ as well as being in stock.

Thanks @Sam_400º appreciated! I've tried almost everything apart from the payment settings. I finished setting up my bank account and other details in order to take payment from customers and everything started showing as normal.

 

Very weird but it worked 👍

@whatsup Sorry to hear you're having trouble with item availability too! If you have multiple locations you should make sure your items are available in each location. From your Square Dashboard:

  1. Navigate to the Items section.
  2. Search for the item that is unavailable and click on the item name.
  3. Under Details > click on the Location name > check the box for each location that this item should be available at > click Save.

 

You could also try publish your site if you haven't already. If you're still having trouble though do call our Support team so we can help!

Sorry to hear you're running into this issue too @Charlie96! I had a quick look at the item you linked, and I can see that two of the variations are showing up as unavailable (24th Double and 25th Double). In this case, I just want to check:

  • Are the variations in stock? If you've enabled stock tracking and the items are set to 0, they may not be available to purchase
  • Is there a price set for each variation?

Hi there I'm having these issues also when everything was working smoothly previously! I've double checked stock and stock availablility at all locations. When I use the online check out link it shows available, when I try and shop  via the website it says not available!

Have spent so much time on this as I'm sure its my fault but have double checked settings and re-entered items by copying what I had before with no luck. I've set all to shipping (even though I deliver but I dont want your timings overriding my delivery day options!). I've set all items to visible several times... Anything else you can suggest? Thank you.

Thanks for looking into this Alegra, much appreciated. Its https://mrspiggybakes.square.site - this morning item shows as available, I add it, then it says unavailable on the 'buy now' box, but if I refresh the screen its gone into my basket. I can't add anymore to basket. Something strange going on!

Thank you @mrspiggybakes , I had a look yesterday and I didn't have any of the issues you described. I was able to add both items to my basket and proceed to checkout. However this morning I'm unable to add either item to the basket. If you haven't made any changes in the last few hours, it definitely seems like the settings need to be checked on the backend. 

 

When you can please give our support team a call, they can look at your at  Square Online settings with you so we can get this resolved as soon as possible.

Hi, I'm having the same issue. my online shop was working fine for 2 months but now everything is showing at unavailable. i have checked all items are available on the item editing page but all still showing as unavailable.

I had a quick look at your site and have added a couple of items to the basket for pickup with no issues.
