Inventory Report - Retail Value

How do I run a report for the RETAIL value of my in-stock inventory? I see how to do it for wholesale but not the retail value.

That particular report is available as long as you’re using Square for Retail. Log into your dashboard on computer. Go to reports tab, scroll down to inventory reports, then pick projected profits from the list. At the top of that report you will see total wholesale value, total retail value, total projected profit, and last but not least your total margin. You can select the filter to only show certain categories or items via the drop down or you can scroll down through the entire list. Hopefully this helps you get the information you are looking for

I was also looking for a report to give me the retail value of my in-stock inventory and found this, however, when I go to the reports tab, I don't have "inventory reports" listed.  Does this mean that I don't have "Square for Retail"?  I use this for my retail business, so I presume that I have "Square for Retail".  What's up?

There’s different levels of Square for Retail. You need to be using Square for Retail Plus in order to get the advanced reports. It’s simple to see if that’s the version you’re currently subscribed to though. From your dashboard on the computer go to the settings tab. Should be on the left hand side at the bottom. Click that then click business information then pricing and subscriptions. That will show you what square services you’re subscribed to and if you’re not using retail plus then it used to give you a button to upgrade. Square for Retail Plus gives you a 30 day free trial so that you can make sure it’s got the additional features that you are wanting to use before being charged

Thank you for this information! I was able to determine that I do not have Square for Retail Plus...which is why I don't have the inventory report that I've been wanting.  I may look into Plus or may stick with what I have.  But it was great to get this information.  Thanks again!
