Image issues

Hi

I have a set of images sent to me by a supplier for their products. They are all within the size parameters recommended by square but when I upload them they come out massive and therefore don't fit within the boxes properly. Any ideas as I can't figure out why they are doing this. I have loads of images and its only these particular ones...

They are jpgs and I've uploaded the original and how they come out in the item properties

Hey @frondere - the online store suites 1:1 ratio for most image boxes. If you added white space to each side of the image then it would fill top/bottom without cropping.

For that main image it’s the same spec as your supplier will be used to doing for Amazon rules (& eBay best practice).

Hi @frondere, to make them fit those boxes you will need to add some white space to fit the aspect ratio (1:1), this sort of thing can be done on spark.adobe.com in just a few clicks, just select square (sizing), put the image on the blank page and size it to fit, then export it as a .JPEG file and upload it to Square and it should fit perfectly.

Hope this could help, if it does mark it as best answer to help others in the future!

Thanks for this. I tried adobe spark - didn't even know that existed so thanks for that! however, I managed to do it in Affinity Photo - after a bit of jiggery pokery it worked - so thank you both for the advice 🙂
