Hi there,
I've run into a really odd problem and I'm hoping that someone here can help me, please.
I'm using an iPad mini as a till and log into my Square account through a Device Code. I've set the permissions I want the iPad to have under Team Permissions, but for some reason, the iPad overwrites those and has a lot more access than I have given it?!
I've tried troubleshooting everything I could think of; deleted the app, deleted the device from my Square account, restarted the iPad etc. However, no matter what I do the iPad seems to have superpowers and doesn't care at all about my rules.
And what's really also odd is, that I've done exactly the same with another iPad (logged in with a Device Code) and the rules apply when I am using that one?!
Any ideas as to why this is happening?
Hoping for some help and many thanks in advance!

Hi @skafte, thanks for reaching out.
Let's start by checking if we have passcodes enabled for both iPads.
With the iPad that's working correctly, is passcode and team passcode enabled under Settings > Security?
Are these settings enabled on the iPad mini logged on with the device code?
Please let me know if the settings are the same for both devices.

Many thanks for your help @Breffni!
Your hint helped me solve the problem. I wasn't aware that you need to log in with an all-access passcode first in order to enable team passcodes.
Thanks!
