QuickBooks Desktop is displaying a "Unrecoverable Error" for me. How can I fix this problem and make sure it doesn't happen again?

Since this is a Square users group and Not a Quickbooks forum, I suggest you try the Quickbooks Forum. I know Quickbooks has been trying to push its customers to Quickbooks Online and away from using QuickBooks Desktop. I found this out when I went to import my bank statements last year to my Quickbooks Desktop that expired. I did not realize that I needed an active Desktop Subscription to manually import my bank statement file to my QuickBooks Desktop. I downloaded it from my bank, so the file was on my Computer, why was QuickBooks Desktop telling me my subcription was up for my Quickbooks Desktop that I bought without a Yearly subscription. My quess is that your Subscription is up for Quickbooks Desktop and they will say you need to upgrade and go online, but you can or could still get QuickBooks Desktop but they want you to have a subscription plan now even if you bought Lifetime plans they want you pay to beable to manually import your Bank statements.
