Subscriptions, 1-final change that will CHANGE THE WORLD

Why would the Square developers offer subscriptions when there is one final development task still pending? I am trying to use Square Subscriptions to set up a wine club. When I was looking for a new ecommerce package, I saw that Square included Subscriptions in their business package and I assumed it was a complete subscription package. After creating all the subscription items, terms and setup, I realize a major issue is still just sitting there, unavailable for input. In the "frequency options", "add frequency option", "subscription start date", you can see the box, you can click on the box, but you cannot input a date. Just so you guys at Square know, Most any retailer that offers a subscription plan, Wine Club, Candle Club, Soap Club, any club, there needs to be a uniform date for the actual plan to begin whereas all club shipments would go out at the same time. Otherwise, if the club were quarterly or monthly, as a retailer, you would be obligated to ship out as soon as someone signes up. And that is not the way most clubs operate.  Can you please finish the subscription part of your package and allow us retailers to put a date in the box, already shown??

Hey there @Whitesquirrel1,

I'd be happy to help you out with this!

Based on your description, it sounds like you're seeking an option to synchronize your monthly subscriptions to align on the same cycle for bulk sending of subscription products to your customer base. If I've understood you correctly, would you be able to let me know a little more about your use case, for example, do you currently ship all subscription products on the last Friday of each month?

Additionally, can you let me know whether your customers currently subscribe to plans online?

The reason I ask is because you can achieve the desired outcome when manually creating a new subscription from your online Dashboard. When creating a subscription, you'll see the option to select a Start Date. However, this won't solve the issue for you if your customers subscribe via online subscription links.

For now, we'll keep a lookout for your reply so we can check in with our team about your options here.
