CBD Credit Card Processing

Does anyone have an alternative credit card processor other than Square that works with Shopify? My account is getting deactivated even though I have submitted all Certificates of Analysis for my products which show I am in compliance. You can't speak with anyone in the "cbd compliance department" other Square departments can only email them and ask for assistance which they don't provide to clarify any issues. Terrible customer service and no means to defend yourself.

Hi @TurnerBunyan .

Thanks for reaching out here on the Square Community.

From what I can see, COAs need to be provided for all products that contain CBD or hemp derived products in your inventory. This includes items that are being sold in person and not just online. So even if you have items in your inventory that contain CBD or hemp derived products, and they are not on your website, you will still need to submit COAs for these items.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

@TurnerBunyan I understand the frustration.  CBD is a special program and I have seen sellers have problems with the medical claims with CBD.  Helping with anxiety will get you flagged so to speak.  I don't think you will get a good answer here for a competitor, but at least you can express your dissatisfaction.   It is tough, and I understand you are just trying to make a living too.
