Limiting access to setup hardware

A server accessed setup hardware and was ‘adjusting’ hardware settings. How can I stop this from happening? Where is it located in permissions.

All specific permission sets can be found here on this master list. While there is no specific set of permissions for hardware settings - considering hardware settings can be somewhat subjective - the closest access point would be the Account & Settings tab of permission level access.

 

In an effort to better answer your question, is there a specific action your server took that you would like to restrict?

Is there a way to allow employees to reconnect our Square Stand without giving them access to everything. Recently our Reader won't reconnect on its own. I have to go in with my Owner's Code and reconnect it, the Team Code does not allow access.

Hey @onery,

 

You can edit your Team's Permissions via your Team Permissions Dashboard. Make sure that your team have access to the Checkout if they're processing sales, and that Devices is enabled under Account & Settings
