I have multiple bartenders who can all help the same guest at the bar and ring in items. All my employees have individual log ins. Is there a way I can see who is ringing in what items.
for example. if Employee A starts a tab and rings in an item. and employee B rings in another item on the same tab and then employee C adds another item. Then Employee B closes the tab. who gets the credit for total sale and do they get credit for every item in that sale or is there a way to see what all employees contributed?

Hey @hammerhead300. Obviously, there are a few answers to your questions. Here goes, based on your scenario above.
- Employee B, who closes the tab, would be the team member who gets “credit” in sales reports.
- Even though Employee A and C added items to the transaction, they would still receive no credit in the sales reports. Only Employee B.
- However, if a tip is added to the tab and you are not using tip pooling, then either Employee A or Employee B will receive the tip. This is controlled by a setting on your dashboard > Device Management > Service settings > Tip Adjustment. Here you can specify whether the team member who opened the check or the one who closed the check gets the tip. Obviously, if you are doing tip pooling, then each of the three will get a portion of the tip, depending on how you set up your tip pool.
- There is no way that I am aware of to see what items are “contributed” to a tab.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
