My Handheld pos prints too light. I cannot see what's on it. How do I fix that?

Square Terminal is a thermal printer so that leaves a couple of options as there is no Ink to refill.  Bad/exposed thermal paper, the paper is in the wrong way, or the printer isn't working right anymore.  Start with verifying the thermal paper is in the correct orientation, there is a guide on the screen when the door is open.  If you have another roll you could switch to that as thermal paper can deteriorate over time if exposed to sun/light.

Hey @Nattom,

Thanks for being a member of the Community.

To add to @VanKalkerFarm's response, the Square Terminal uses thermal receipt paper, which does not require ink or toner. If the print is faint, it may be due to the paper being inserted incorrectly or using incompatible thermal receipt paper.

How long has the printer been producing faint prints? Are you using compatible printer paper?
