I run a fund-raising beer booth for my non-profit neighborhood association at a biannual street fair. We use the terminal for just three days twice a year. We sell a variety of beers, wine, and swag that have a variety of prices.
The majority of our volunteers have never worked retail or service. A graphic menu would greatly speed up the process during crush periods, as well as eliminate the mental math errors that too often happen on large orders. I've called Square customer support twice on this, and both times was rather curtly told that I could only do a graphic menu with a restaurant or retail subscription. As we only use the Terminal for six days total during the year, a subscription of any sort makes no sense.

@KoreyK So what you are wanting to do is have the tiles on the terminal have a photo of the item with the price, so you can just ring people buy comparing the photo on the terminal with why the customer is purchasing correct?
1. To do that go to the dashboard on your computer, then Items.
2. Then tap create new item.
3. Type the name of the item, add the photo, scroll down enter your price and toggle on tracking.

2. tap the + in a blank tile
3. On the next screen tap Item
4. Search for the Item you want and select it and tap done
5. Tap the X in the upper left hand corner of the terminal.
6. To rearrange the tiles, just put your finger on the tile and move it to the location you want.

I'm not sure what a graphic menu is that you would want. Maybe I am not understanding.
I would just use the favorites menu that can have items or categories of items.

Hey @KoreyK, I want to welcome you to the Community.
I agree with @VanKalkerFarms. I'm not certain which graphic menu you mean. I want to give you the most accurate information. Could you share more details about what you're looking for or provide a screenshot to help me assist you better?
I look forward to your reply.

I'm thinking of a grid of photo icons of each item we sell, with the price built in. So, if a customer who was treating all of his friends ordered five beers, one wine, two Nutrls, one seltzer, and three koozies, the server could simply tap the product icons and the number of each (or tap each icon the requisite number of times) for an instant (and accurate) total. Currently, the server does the mental math in their head, and then manually enters the total.
I've already created the icons in my Square account, but I couldn't figure out how to enter pricing, or transfer it all to the Terminal. Square support told me there is no way to do that or otherwise customize the Terminal with a free account, and our only option is the status quo. As I mentioned previously, we only use the Terminal for six days out of the year, and don't need any of the other functions that come with a subscription anyway

@KoreyK That sounds like a great way to streamline ordering and reduce errors! Since you’ve already created the icons in your Square account, the next step is to set up the item grid so you can quickly tap items to add them to a sale.
You can follow the steps in this article: Set Up Item Grid.
@rtfulk Thank you for your great response, but the videos you posted aren't showing up on my end.
Let me know if you have any questions!

I have the videos fixed. Square doesn't seem to like long names on videos.
