Cashapp Pay on Square Terminal
Is Cashapp pay an option on square terminal? I saw it is on the Ipad.

Hello @Shameka thanks for your question. I'm not exactly sure, but do you have options to change settings on the Terminal? If so, maybe check something like this...More > Settings > Payment Types. See if Cashapp is an option.

Under settings Imy payment type is under checkout and I have two options: Skip Payment or Skp Itemized Cart

I'm not 100% sure on this one myself 🤔 but this is what I'm seeing on the Terminal's spec page in the Square Shop:
I've reached out to the Square Terminal Product Team for confirmation. I'll follow up with you here with what I find out! I appreciate your patience in the meantime.

Thank you I did a test run, during check out but once I click the back button Cashapp isn't there, but in the Square Retail app on Ipad it's there. So weird.

Hi there again, @Shameka - Sorry to hear you're still having some trouble with this 😓 I appreciate your patience while I was out of the office. I reached out to the Square Terminal Product Team and they confirmed that Cashapp Pay is accepted on the Terminal.
I suggest making sure that the software on the Terminal is up to date. Head to ≡ More > Settings > Hardware > General. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap About Terminal. From this page, you’ll see your software version and available updates.
After this, you can check the Payment Types screen to see if Cashapp Pay is available by following these steps:
1. Tap ≡ More from the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen
2. Tap Settings > Checkout > Payment types

The only two options I have are Skip Payment Type Seletion and Skip Itemized cart

I reached out to the Square Terminal Product Team and this is what they've let me know: "It should be enabled by default. So if the Seller hasn't changed a setting, we're not sure why they aren't seeing it as an option when they go to process a payment."
Could you reach out to our Support Team so they can take a look with you and investigate further?
