my first payroll shorted my employees hours. their paystubs didnt match their checks, anyone else?

maybe some clarifying info can help.  Shoted hours as in they worked 36 on the Shifts Labor & tips page  but they show 35 on the paystub?  The paystub and the check should contain the same info as the paystub is the record to keep of the check for records, do you mean the paystub said $450 but the check was $440?  Just trying to clarify so we can help more.

@ryanwanner, @DinaLRosenberg I don't use Square payroll just shifts to track employees so maybe you can help.

In one the paystub was for 35 hours and the direct deposit was only for 30.2.

I would recommend calling in to support Monday as payroll isn't something employees want getting messed up.  There must be some setting or time period not correctly set as I can not think of a pay that a paystub can be different than a check, unless we have different meanings for paystub as to me that is the part of the check you keep which is data directly off the check.

Check your payroll period. We pay Wednesday thru Tuesday.. you may not have the pay period you think you do.
