I am a solo business owner of a skincare services company and am considering having an independent contractor come in when I am not in the office to perform services (setting own hours, pricing, work schedule). In Square Appointments I see that I can add her as a team member, allow for bookings, and even include a commission setting (to set her up with Square Payroll for IC), but does that mean she will need to use my account to process payments and have access to seeing my schedule and also all my sales reports? I'm not keen on that, so is there a way to still have her be able to book appointments through my square appointments as a team member yet collect payments from the appointments she takes on her own and have my commission from those services automatically sent to my square account so she is truly an independent contractor? I see on government websites that if payments are controlled by the business owner and not the independent contractor, they can be considered employee status and I don't want to get in trouble! Thank you in advance for clarifying!

Hey there @OlyEsty I completely understand your concerns. It sounds like you are wanting to set up Team Management for this employee. Once you set up their profile and settings they can take payments and book from their own device and the funds will still get sent to your bank account. Is this what you are looking for? I hope so!
