Star TSP100 issues after update to Register

W have a Star TSP100III w/USB that was working perfect until an update killed it.  Now we cannot get the printer to work with the Register. The printer works with our Stand perfect, no issues, but it will not connect to our Register.  We also have a Star SM-230i bluetooth that was working with the Register up until about two weeks ago until another update killed it.  Any ideas? I reached out to Square, but got the "You may have to purchase new equipment" answer!

@bm0513 Just  a thought, have you setup a printer profile on the register? I don’t own a Square register, but I assume a printer has to be setup just like on the iPad. Go to Settings/Hardware/Printer to set it up. If you have set one up, make sure it is still associated with the printer. Some updates I have had to re-connect my printer to a profile and one time I had to make a completely new profile.

*******UPDATE*******

Surprisingly, after a Register update two days ago, our Star SM-S230i magically works now!  But now the printer is printing very long receipts! Bottom of receipt is over 18 inches long now! ( I think this update should be called the "CVS Pharmacy Receipt Format" update!!!). I have tried re-booting both printer and register, deleting and creating new printer profiles, turning off Logo branding, changing printer emulation and nothing has changed the length.  Paper size is correct in Register settings of printer (58mm).  Baffled by the fact the update "fixed the bluetooth connection" with the printer and Register is seeing the printer as the correct model and paper size, just printing CVS Pharmacy-like length receipts!  Any ideas?

Go into your printer profile and you can turn on short receipt.  It may have got turned off during the update.
