Why does the Square Dashboard and the Register show different Sales Values?

It is now 12:06 in the afternoon. I logged into my dashboard from my PC and notice that the "Key Metrics" page on the Dashoboard shows a different "Net Sales" figure than what I see in the "More->Reports->Sales" pages on the Square Register.

The difference is about 11%, with the Register being the higher figure.

The register is online with no internet issues, and it has been 20 minutes since the last sale, so there should not be any pending transactions. Even so, the last several transactions do not total the difference anyhow.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Ooops. I figured it out!  The register is set for GROSS sales and the Dashboard is showing NET sales.

Case closed, and I hold my hands up for making this mistake.

@lennys26 ;

I have done that and after doing it look at that first.  Now on the register is does show Gross at the top and below that it shows the Net amount.  You can also tap the Show Details button which shows Discounts, Returns and Taxes.  Glad you figured it out.
