Payment Link orders not showing up on KDS

When a customer pays for an order with Payment Link.. The order is never sent to the KDS.

All other forms of payments on the POS device created a KDS order..  But no the payment link. The customer pays the PAYMENT LINK.. it shows up as paid in the transactions. But the order is never sent to the KDS..

Any ideas

Hi @BrownsBBQATL !

Payment links are intended for the following purposes

  1.  Collect a payment,
  2. Sell an item
  3. Sell classes or tickets

If you are looking for a self service payment option to go to your KDS - you can take a look into QR code ordering. This is a better option for smaller restaurants.

QR code ordering through Square Online offers a contactless, in-person ordering experience that increases safety and workflow efficiency. Instead of browsing a paper menu and placing orders with a staff member, customers use their mobile devices to scan a QR code at their table, seat, parking spot, or anywhere you want them to order. You can automatically tie each QR code to a specific ordering station (great for smaller food venues and restaurants) or require customers to enter their location manually when they order (best for large-scale events and stadiums).

I hope this helps!
