Is it possible to use a QR code to open an existing ticket?
I use tickets to track a customer’s store credit. For example, if we give a customer $100 in store credit, we just open a ticket for that customer and add purchases to it until the total reaches $100.
The problem is, tickets are shown in the order they were created, and they’re not searchable, so it takes time to find a particular customer’s ticket.
I would like to give each customer a card with a QR code on it. I want to scan the QR code and have it open the ticket.
is this possible, or does anyone have any other ideas for how to find a ticket quickly?

Hey,
Have you thought about using house accounts or gift card for this purpose?
Personally if you’re giving them a in-house credit I’d use Gift Cards. Simply issue an eGiftCard via Square which will issue a QR code. You can use that QR code each time they make a purpose or store it right on customers account.
Here is some information:

I have some alternative ideas if you’d need them.
