Hey folks. I am a first timer. I have a festival this weekend and just looked at my square. It's a iphone connector and I have Android. Will a lighting to Droid converter work ok?

Hi Jepiner,
Assuming your phone uses a USB-C connector for charging - which Square Magstripe Reader do you have ? The one with the headset jack adapter or the one with the lighting connector. If it's the one with the phone jack, then this connector cable will work as it's supported / recommended by Square. If your Square Magstripe Reader has the lighting connector and you have or get an adapter to connect to your phone, unfortunately there's no guarantee it will work or be supported. At least that's what I'm seeing. Another option is to take a look at this info - no additional cables or hardware needed. Bottom line, you are safer taking contactless type payments verses "Swipes". Suggest reading this important info. And there's Square Reader for Contactless and Chip - it connects via Bluetooth, our favorite.
