I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to set the Square terminal to recognize a "Buy # for $" deal? For example, I want Square to recognize that if I add 3 stickers ($5/ea) to cart, it would charge it as $12 because of my "3 for $12 deal".
And if there's 5 stickers in cart, it would charge $12 (3 sticker deal) + $10 (2 stickers, no deal) = $22
My only option at the moment is having a separate listing under "3 for $12 deal" but then I am not able to track inventory under Square this way.

yes you can via automatic discounts.
https://squareup.com/dashboard/items/pricing/discounts
you can setup an automatic discount of $3 off if the items you listed are purchased togeheter and use exact for quantity in the rule rather than minimum.

test it out a bit because it can take a few tweaks to get it right the first time. For example on the buy 3 for $12 the amount of the discount is applied to each item not as a set so you would want a $1 discount and then it is automatically applied 3 times to the group of 3. It is kinda cool cause if you add 5 of the item it will break it up into a group of 3 on the receipt with discount and a group of 2 without discount.
