Splitting Tips between Staff and Delivery Couriers for Square Online Orders

As you know currently 100% of tips go to Doordash staff for on-demand delivery of Square Online orders.  We NEED a way to split tips 50/50 with our staff.  This is an issue that was brought up many times in the Square Discussion boards back in 2020 when this feature was first rolled out, but I still don't see a way to enable it on the back end.
 
Tipping is critical to the livelihood of our staff.  We need this capability.  Has any progress been made on this, or is this in the works?

I’d like to express urgency to fulfill on this tip split setting (courier vs. restaurant). Yesterday we had a large order come in and the entire $30 tip went to the courier. This is critical for our staff wellness and compensation.

DoorDash has the ability to tip separately for Staff and Couriers.

 

Many of our guests assume that the “tip” goes to our staff who works hard to prepare large delivery orders. Please get this on the pipeline for features asap!

For the delivery option, it only allows the customer to tip the "courier" and that certainly cant be right since my staff is the ones making and processing the order. While I was testing this feature, I myself didn't realize this, and tipped the driver over $10 when I thought that was going to my staff member. This is incredibly outrageous and needs addressed.

This is a much needed feature for restaurants!

 

We need to split up courier tip vs. staff tip. Most of our customers assume they're tipping our hard working staff who prepares their food; however 100% goes to the courier. We need both line items.

 

We want to push more delivery orders, but our staff will not like receiving an influx of orders if it doesn't hit their paycheck.

This is absolutely necessary! We have large orders going out that take coming in early and taking time away from the line with huge and much appreciated tips going to the driver that is only going 2 miles down the road! Customers do not realize that the tips are not coming to our employees. This is killing morale. Please please please make this a thing!
