Rather large issue with Shipping / pickup not functioning correctly

Hello there,

Shipping and store pick up are enabled in my store.

 

If you choose 'shipping' when placing an item in your cart, then change your mind and want pickup instead, it will not take you to the 'pickup' checkout process, but rather will still take you to the 'shipping' checkout process screen.

 

This happens regardless of whether curbside pick up is checked or not. The qty and/or dollar value of the product has no affect either.

Hopefully someone can tell me rather quickly if I have done anything wrong on my end, or if this is a bug, it can be resolved soonest. It's not making for a very happy buying experience for some.

Welcome back to the Community. 

 

Are you still seeing this issue on your end? I was able to do a test and it didn't have the shipping section when I clicked on Pickup. Everything operated normally. 

 

I have a couple of follow-up questions, just in case. 

 

Do you have Shipping & Pickup set as options for your items? What internet browser are you using? I would recommend trying Google Chrome.

Hello there and thank you for replying!

 

Yes, all items are set for shipping and pickup. 

 

This issue is happening to my customers and I would not know, nor ask which browser they are using. 

 

Mostly I use Chrome or Firefox

Thank you for clarifying that for me. I am having a hard time trying to recreate the issue you're seeing on your end. 

 

Since you and some of your customers are still seeing this issue when switching from shipping to pick-up, I am going to recommend reaching out to our CS Team directly. They can file a ticket with our engineers to get to the bottom of the disconnect. 

 

I appreciate you taking the time to post about this and providing all of the information to help get to the bottom of it.
