Online Categories Needs to Go Back to How It Was

When adding items to an online category, the list of items used to come up in order of when they were put into the item library. Example, I upload groups of 30 items at a time on average, I go into the online categories to make that item show on my Shop site in that category, and when I click in to the item list, that group of items showed up first, and all other items were listed chronologically by when I entered them in the system. Now items are just listed alphabetically, and it is a huge time suck having to search each individual item to add to the online category. Whatever you did Square, fix it, please. It saves me so much time.

@esmall  I understand how this change has increased time to categorize and post to your website. I completely agree that there are improvements that could/should be made to make it easier for sellers to alleviate these issues.

I do, however, believe the unified categories for POS and Online provide a lot of benefits to sellers, including myself. Let's hope they listen to the feedback and can provide a solution as quickly as possible.

I agree, I was looking for the categories to be unified 2 years ago when I first started. The only thing I want them to change back is the list of items showing up chronologically in the list to add. I have over 1,000 items in my catalog and it's a pain having to search items I just added individually to add to a category instead of how it used to be.
