New Item entered into inventory is not showing up "online"

What's going on with new items not syncing to online? I entered a new item 20 minutes ago and it STILL isn't showing up in Square online..

 

My process:

Upload item into Square Dashboard > Items

Turn on appropriate sales channels at bottom and save

 

Head over to Online and make sure listing is properly categorized for online sale.

 

it's been 20 minutes and not showing up.

 

the issue is I can't move on in my process if this doesn't happen because when you have 1000s of products you need to get it right at the beginning. We find there's no going backwards.

Hey @DinaLRosenberg, I want to make sure the items show up. Can you try these troubleshooting steps, if you continue to have an issue let me know:

 

1) From your Square Item Library, check your item variations and be sure there aren't two or more items with the same name.

 

2) If there are (even if these items have different prices or SKUs), differentiate them by adding a "." (period), "-" (dash), or "/" (forward slash) at the end of one name.

I get this message for my items to sync them and how they are synced:

 

Control how new items you create in Item Library or in Point of Sale app get added to online sites in Item Sync settings. Go to Item Sync settings The Link takes you to your Dashboard > Online > Items > Item SyncSince I only just started using Square's Online site for Appointments and do not sell items there I am just letting you know about this if you have not seen it yet or if it is something new from Square that adjusts settings.
