Inventory not reduced when items sold

Inventory tracking is not working properly in my online store. I have a free account & I just started adding item to the store a few days ago.

 

When I sell an item from my square store, the inventory is not reduced. It does track correctly when I add to stock. I made a test item with 3 variations. To test, I bought 2 items of the same variation last night. My credit card was charged, but the inventory has not changed. Does tracking not work with a free account?

 

Additionally, on the transactions screen, when I view completed transactions, I see this transaction, the receipt says the money has been transferred to my linked bank account. When I look at my linked back account, there is no record of the money being added.

Hello TimOFD,

 

The Inventory feature does work with the Free version and there are additional features available depending on which Square App you choose.  Not sure why you didn't see any changes after selling something however, you may need someone to look at your Account setup - that's something that cannot be done here - Customer Support has that capability.   As for your concern about the funds transfer, it can take up to 2 Business Days (Monday thru Friday) unless there's a holiday or it's the weekend.  There are options for getting your funds quicker - there's more info here.

I contacted square and there was an issue with the item I created. Square did not tell me what the issue was, but tracking worked when a different item was purchased.
