How to remove a discount code from showing on the item

Screenshot (130).png

I am having the same issue. A discount code that was deleted still shows up as a widget with a pop-up under every item on my website. After many hours wasted with customer support, I have been told that my site issue has been escalated to engineering and is being worked on. No estimated timing of when it will be fixed. No offers of a workaround. Five days in and no resolution. This is unacceptable as it appears to be false advertising to my online customers. I had to add a site pop-up explaining the issue to site visitors, but that isn't acceptable going forward.

I need a resolution ASAP or I will be forced to move my online shopping somewhere else. This will not be easy, as I use Square for my physical store and appointments.

Seeing that this has been an on-going issue for others doesn't give me any comfort.

UPDATE: 18 July 2025

I was told by a customer support manager today that this is a major glitch affecting multiple other site owners. They said that engineering has been working on this issue for over a week now. Please, if you are having this same issue, give a call to customer support and ask to have it escalated to engineering. They need to resolve this ASAP.

As you can see from the image I added to my post, this "widget" cannot be edited but shows up under every item on my website for a discount code that was deleted. I even tested another automatic code for a single item and another widget was added to that item that won't go away. The codes themselves are behaving as they should in my cart and Square register (working when active and not working once they are deleted).

I'd love to know if anyone can tell me where this discount code box comes from and whether it can somehow be removed temporarily while the major bug is being fixed.

Hey there, @sfvr

This one sounds very tricky. However, I want to take a closer look at this for you. When you have a moment, please share the link to your website and a link to the specific item that is experiencing this issue.
