I have a cafe, and we are trying to redo our online ordering with one of square's site styles.
I have a problem with the "featured item" section.
The site builder doesn't give me options from my item library to select.
It says it appears i don't have any items, but it seems it would know i do, since the rest of the online ordering site is working perfectly, accessing all my items as intended. It instead asks me to create an item, apparently inside the site builder.
What am i missing? Please advise

The existing featured menu item section on your homepage is broken, so removing it and adding a new featured menu item section will let you choose from their existing items. Let me know how it goes. @Clatter

Could you provide your site link? Also, try removing the featured item section and adding a new one to see if that helps.

Hi Maya, I'm having a similar issue. The new items that I create won't show in the Feature items section, only the old items. Already tried deleting sections and creating new one,,changed browsers, not sure what to so at this point.😞

I'm having the same issue...but not with the Featured Menu item..only Featured Item.
The new items that I create do not show in the Featured items, only the old ones, already used Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge, incognito mode in all also...already cleaned the cache...signed out and back in, already deleted and added a new Feature items sections , already created 3 different items, all visible, available and tried adding to new and existing featured items section and nothing. The only items that work are the old ones.

Even when I try to edit a similar old item , rename it, change the pricing, pictures, description, Still doesn't show the updated/edited version..

Sorry to hear you are experiencing this frustration.
Unfortuntely, it appears this is a syncing issue between the Dashboard and your website. I am going to reach out to our ecommerce team to see if they can reindex the website to see if that helps.

@igorramade The ecommerce team provided me with this insight.
- Solution: Reactivate the location or update the shipping location for the site to an active location.
