Feature Request: Online Orders Export - please add fulfillment type

A field in the orders export csv saying if an order is a 'delivery', 'pickup', or 'shipping' seems conspicuously absent. I'm getting around that by parsing the order notes for 'DELIVERY BY', but that seems ripe for being changed out from underneath me.

Hey @kbc-

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community, and your replies. I looked into this, and it looks you're right. We looked into exportable order reports, in both the Online Store Dashboard, and the Transactions area. None of these reports are specifying the specific fulfillment type. That information is only available while logged into the Dashboard, and not exportable. I've flagged this feature request over to our Online Store Product Team. When I have any updates on the development of this feature, I'll be sure to post in this thread. Thanks for your time, and really sorry about this limitation.

Hey @kbc thanks for taking the time to post about this. Are you exporting the orders from the Online Store/Weebly management page or from another area? If you export this from Weebly, the pickup time will be shown in the list of columns along with any shipping price applied. While this doesn't seem to be exactly what you are looking for it may help narrow down the type of order that came in.

I do see how it would be nice to have one main column displaying all the order methods there, that you can filter by, so I will pass this feedback along. I just want to make sure we are on the same page as well.

Thanks again!

@AshleyK , yes, the export I'm talking about is from the Weebly online store. Thank you for passing that feedback along.

...aaaaand there it is.

You guys changed something yesterday afternoon (between 4:41pm and 5:53pm CST) that changed the format of the Order Notes and now the text I was relying on to figure out if an order is a delivery is gone.

Also, @AshleyK , pickup time is only in the rows with products, not the initial order line... which the fact that there are multiple lines for an order is a whole other gripe I have about this export data in itself, but I guess let's just deal with one issue at a time?

So, what is the recommended way to determine if a row in this export data is for a delivery or a pickup?

100% agree with this need. Really need to be able to generate a report by fulfillment type. Shipped, pickup, delivery.

Looking to find out if there is a reason that the CSV list 2 lines per order, but the data isn't duplicated in each line. One line as assorted columns filled in, the other line has different columns filled in. If you use excel to filter on Pickup Date (Column AR), literally almost all important data is hidden. There is no way, without Excel gymnastics, to see all pertinant data for a given date range.

If all data was on one line, rather than 2, this would solve  a multitude of issues.

The Delivery Fee Breakdown Report has all data on one line, but doesn't include pickup date/time, along with item detail, etc.. if we could get ALL data in this report, we can hide columns, filter, etc.

Thanks!

Hey @JennsCookieCrea.

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community and providing this insight. I want to make sure I/we understand what you're looking for before I make a suggestion, or relay the information to our Product Teams.

It seems like you're referring to the order export sheet limitations listed in this thread. Is that correct? You're looking for an exportable report that includes delivery fee, pick up date/time, and fulfillment type?

Let me know! 🍪

Correct... from the Orders page, clicking Export Orders, give the options for the Standard Report, or the Delivery Fee Breakdown Report. The Standard Report is unusable, since the spreads data over multiple rows, but not all data is in all rows. The Delivery Fee Report is more usable, but doesn't include all the data the other does. If it could, anyone can format/manipulate it to suit their needs.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply @JennsCookieCrea.

It appears that what you're looking for at this time, we do not have available. I went ahead and merged your post with another thread that discusses this feature request. I'll make sure to post updates in this thread as I receive them. Thanks for your patience.

Any update on this? It's wild to me that you cannot export any sales report that allows you to filter your online sales by fulfillment method.

We offer local pickup as well as nationwide shipping... it's an obvious and critical business function to know how much product was shipped vs picked up as they have different associated costs.

Hope this gets added soon... it may lead me away from Square if not.
