Contact Form: Selecting Email Address To Receive Submissions

So, I have a contact form on the online website and when someone enters information to contact us and presses submit it goes directly to the email that is on the Square Account & Settings tab. I want it to go to a different destination as I want to keep the main email account for Square to only deal with issues regarding Square and reports not customer requests as someone else will be dealing with these requests.  There is an email setting as well in the Online->Settings->Email setup . I thought by actually having a different email here the "Contact Us" form submission would redirect the emails to that email address.  I have setup a different email for this and would like a solution.

Thanks.

You can change the email address associated with this form, @sfeq!

You'll start by heading to your Square Online editor (Square Online Dashboard > Website > Edit Site), and clicking the Contact us section on the left-hand side of the editor. Once here, look for Settings, shown in the left-hand menu, then select Form Settings.

Here you'll see a place to edit the email underneath Email notification.
By default, this will be the email address on file for your account.
However, you can edit the email address here!

yes I was not finding the exact settings menu for this, and was going to the wrong settings menu. I realized I had click on the "contact us section" when editing that page on the website editor in order for the menu that is pictured above to pop up on the left side. So for anyone else that may have trouble finding it, that was my issue. Click the section so it is highlighted then that specific menu will appear on the left and scroll down to do the steps above. Because just because you change your email in the main square settings it won't apply to this area. 🙂

I am having this issue as well. I have tried several different email addresses. The sender email receives an automated response through Square that reads:

"Curtains For Campers is not accepting messages through this system. Please contact them directly".

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated. I have already added all the noreply, etc. email addresses to my contacts and tried evrything listed in the help articles.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you for your response. I discovered I had turned off the Square Assistant Messages (Do Not Disturb) as I never use it. When you turn it off, it turns off email notifications as well. A little strange but it works. It seems to only effect the  "contact form" emails.

Thank you again for your response.

My forms have a different subject line line when they are submitted via mobile or desktop. How can we adjust this? Also, when we receive an online form submission is always comes to me. But it should only go to the email that we assigned. (clients email) When we build websites, I need the forms to go to the client only. But they are coming to both emails.

Is it possible to have a confirmation be sent to multiple email address?   Usually you can separate with a comma, but that doesn't seem to work.  Thanks!

Hello @stevyngilmore thanks for reaching out. You are not able to send Square email notifications to multiple senders. You can through your email provider set it up to be forwarded over, but not through Square. Please me know if you need anything else.
