Change of domain name with Square online

Long story short, I recently fired a marketing company that assisted with building my Square online store for VERY misleading business practices over a span of time. Please know this is a very reputable company in the area and I did not expect the issues I received.  With that, this company assisted me in building my square online store, purchased a domain that I did not give permission to do or have knowledge of until this last month. This last week I fired the company, I purchased my own domain through square and connected it. I did disconnect the company's domains that they controlled and I called Square Online to confirm I had everything set up correctly. There was no option to purchase the domain the company created.

The issue is that I am still seeing the company's domain on search engines. I did request they terminate the domains they created (main domain and domain name for square). The shop.flowersbybillie.com domain the company created has an error message. My new domain shopflowersbybillie.com is out there but it looks different (no favicon that was created).

I feel like I missed a setting or something with-in the domain settings. Does anyone have insight to changing a domain name?

@Billie45 I am sorry to hear that happened to you.  Unfortunately, search engines are their own keepers so to speak.  The best thing you can do is make sure to update your google business profile and there are ways to manually submit your domain to the search engines.

For google you can ask them to hide the page or recrawl the page.  The information is in the following link and this is for even if you don't own the page.  There are other links on down to handle more options like this for you.  It will take some time to fix it though.
