How can I set up Meta for Business as an online sales channel?

I am trying to set up Meta for Business. When I get to the bit that says select catalogue, the only option I get is Shopify which I never really used and that was years ago. When I try to create square catalogue it says 'catalog not associated with the shop tied to your page or Instagram account'.

To confirm, are you attempting to connect Meta for Business via your online Square Dashboard?

Hi Katie, I managed to get connected to meta and my items are in a shopify catalogue, as this was the only option that would work. However, I am unable to tag products on instagram (followed instructions many times). I am approved for Insta shopping and everything else seems ok. 
I don't want to open insta/fb shops or use shopify for anything but the catalogue.

Since the integration is managed by Meta, I recommend reaching out to their Support team directly to get further clarification from their side. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
