Offer disappeared

Hello! Wondering if anyone has had any experience with an offer disappearing due to processing volume dropping- will an offer reappear once our processing volume is “green” again? We had our natural volume drop this week after new years, and while we were verifying a new bank account, the offer disappeared (due to the processing volume dropping). We are still processing more than last year in comparison, but cannot hold a flame to pre/post Christmas numbers in comparing week to week.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee if and when is the problem. I know a lot of people dropped in Metrics during the Holidays due to being closed. I have a feeling it was more of the lateral part of your question stating “while waiting for verification of new bank account. Square usually goes pretty fast from once you hit accept and sign I've had in 15-20 minutes approved and deposit that night. If your account wasn't totally set up and test deposit (if they still do that) couldn't be done they have no place to deposit your new loan. I have seen many with a needs work area still receive offers and be approved. IMO it had to do with just the unfortunate timing of getting a new account and an offer at the same time. Good luck hopefully, the algorithm will pick you fast!

Hi @ljames!

Thanks for posting on the Seller Community.

Please know that Square Loan offers are only available for a limited time. Offers are based on a variety of factors, including recent Square processing volume, outstanding balance, and account activity. Expiration of your offer does not prevent you from receiving or accepting a Square Loan offer in the future. Please be assured that we’ll continue to monitor your account and notify you if you become eligible for a Square loan offer.

Feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any additional questions!
