How to calculate credit card fees and tax them - Wisconsin

In Wisconsin if the item you are selling is taxable then the credit card fees are taxable. How can I set up the credit card fees so that they are taxed?

@rachaelc are you talking about Square's fees that are charged to you for each transaction or a surcharge you are adding to the sale to cover those fees charged to the customer?

If it is the latter, when you set up your business surcharge, there is an option to have that surcharge taxed when you set it up.

Otherwise, the credit card fees paid to square are handled by square and you wouldn't have to do anything.

I am referring to the credit card that we charge. From your answer I was able to find and fix the problem by using the term surcharge. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question and help.
