linking appointments and payment links?

Is it possible to send a payment link as payment for an appointment?  If so, how do I do that?  It's not showing up as a payment option for me under "Take Payment" after selecting the appointment.  I provide my services through zoom, so being able to request my payment through a link via text or as an email is ideal for me, but I also want to be able to link the payment to the scheduled appointment.

You wouldn't be able to send a payment link directly through the appointment. But, you could create a payment link and then just take note on the appointment that it has already been paid for. I know that is a bit more work in the backend, but it will work for what you are trying to do.

Actually i found a way to do this sort of, from ipad app. If you set the default invoice setting within appointments to be send link manually you then get the option in the checkout process to create the url. You then can copy/paste it into a message. Make sure you also manually select the service date.
