How do I change my domain name created on square?
Why I go to change the domain appears grey and does not allow me to change it. Is there a way I can change it?

@PrimeDetailing Can you send over a screen shot of where you are trying to make this change? Usually, unless you are using a Square subdomain (xxxxx.square.site), there’s more to this than just changing the name.
After I see that I should be able to assist you!

Was my post helpful? Take a moment to mark it as a possible "best answer." I hate the term, and wish we could just mark posts as "helpful." But this is our only mechanism at the moment. Just remember "Best answer" should be interpreted as "helpful," and nothing more. LOL. "Best" (ugh) answers help folks possibly find solutions to similar problems they are hoping to solve.

@PrimeDetailing Perfect. Thanks for that. It was exactly what I needed to know. You can’t change the URL from there, those settings are specific to your home page only. So……
Get out of site edit mode, and go back to the Main Online settings page. From there, click on Website -> Domains.
You’ll see your domain name in the middle. To change that, click the blue Connect domain button at the top. There are two choices here:
- If you already own bookprimedetailing.com, then click on “Use a domain I own elsewhere” and correct your domain name.
- Of course, if you don’t own bookprimedetailing.com, you’ll have to click on “Find a custom domain” and go through that process to have Square register it for you. Just remember that you will then own two URLs — the original one, and the new one. You’ll want to cancel the bad one so you don’t keep getting charged for it.
Let me know if you need anything else. Good luck!
