Square Terminal not Connecting to Timely
Hi There, I used to use the square reader and it connected perfectly fine to timely however. have recently upgraded to the square terminal and it won't check out through timely - it will only let me check out in the square app and enter it manually.
When I Click "raise sale and checkout" on timely it will allow Mme to go to square however it only wants to connect to my old small reader and doesn't have an option for the terminal.

I've taken a look at this integration managed by Timely, and while it appears they currently integrate with Square to process payments using the Square Reader, I'm not sure whether this functionality extends to the Square Terminal as well: https://www.gettimely.com/features/add-ons/square/
I recommend reaching out to Timely directly, given that this integration is currently in beta, to confirm whether this is also available to use with the Square Terminal. You can reach out to their team here.

Thank you for reaching out to Timely.
I checked our Square app market place and we do not have a direct integration with Timely, which means that they have built and managed this functionality on their end and there are no additional troubleshooting steps or insights that we can provide here.
And as Laurie mentioned, I'm not able to see anywhere where it says this functionality was built for the Square Terminal, only the Reader is mentioned on their support centre.

Hi there, my square terminal does not connect to timely. I took this up with timely however they mentioned I have done everything correctly. Is there another way to make it automatically connect to timely?
