Square Checkout Links / Embed Codes Not Working

I have gone into "online checkout" and "create a link to collect payment" to try and create a subscription purchase quarterly & ive also tried the other option to create a new button to add to the website ~ both either via link or embed code

everything seems fine as under "plans and subscriptions" they come up and say active etc

so i go ahead and try to link them to a separate category on Weebly editor, both the embed code & link come up with exactly how its supposed to, however when you publish the page & go to click the link it comes up with a "secure connection" error

any thoughts?

thanks

Hi @moni9711,

Thanks for writing in with this question. I've taken a look at the link you've included here, which works fine, but I'd like to take a look at the site where you've linked it. Please share a link to your website, and let us know where you've embedded this link so we can take a look there, too.

I'll keep an eye out for your reply 😊

So I managed to figure out the issue! As soon as I turned off the wifi on my phone the link worked… thanks so much for taking your time to look into this Arie, I appreciate it

Let us know which internet service provider you're using, @moni9711, e.g Telstra, Optus, Vodafone. It might even be worth contacting them directly in case there are blocks on any websites you visit! For reference, I was able to visit the site without error and my internet provider is Mate.

Works on Telstra mobile data! Just not on the homes wifi, which is a Telstra internet package? So must be something to do with our settings

Thank you for clarifying- it would indeed be the settings on your modem in this case, @moni9711. Telstra support will be able to point you in the right direction on how to make the necessary edits 😊
