Label Printer to work with IOS using Square Terminal

Hi,

I found a label printer to connect my ipad to print labels. I found the page showing compatible devices. Ipad with a square reader is compatible. My question is does it make any difference if I am using a square terminal instead of square reader?

This is the one I found on the internet:

Would this work on an ipad using the square terminal?
