Flag sale for delivery and produce a report

Hi, I sell wine at public events using square. Some customers buy a bottle and take it with them. Others buy a case and ask that it be delivered.

 

How can I flag customers that have or have not taken the item with them?

 

Then, how can I produce a list or report so I can fulfill the deliveries easily?

Thanks for getting in touch.

 

At the moment Square's POS is unfortunately not specifically designed to track sales in a way that will give you this sort of info in a report - my best suggestion here is to manually record this info in a separate ledger, for ease of retrieval.

 

If you did want to track this sort of info via Square (perhaps to correlate with a separate ledger if you needed to) you could:

 

1) Make use of the customer directory to record a customer's name and personal info (eg phone and address) to a sale.

2) Make us of the notes section on a payment to note whether the item has been taken or needs to be delivered.
